Billie Jo Bazan, 50, of Gering, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side. Cremation has taken place. A private, invitation-only celebration of life will take place Saturday, June 12, 2021. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Billie was born August 26, 1970 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She grew up in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1989. She met the love of her life, Roy, in 1990. They welcomed their first child in 1992 and would eventually wed in 1993. Four more children were born to this union.
Billie was a lovable mother, protector, wonderful wife, and an even better grandmother. She always said she and Greysyn were the best of friends. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. Billie had a passion for baking, cleaning, and Bath & Body Works. She was an avid Bath & Body Works collector and loved to keep her house surrounded in cinnamon candles. She also had a love for Demi Moore and Samuel Jackson. She would often say that’s why she married Roy was because he was the, “great value version of Samuel Jackson.”
Billie Jo is survived by her husband, Roy of 28 years; children, Paula Bazan, Amanda Bazan, Adrianne (Tatum) Morgan, Abbygael Bazan, and Connor Bazan; grandchildren, Adalyn Bazan, Diego Panduro, Giovanni Panduro, Ahleeya Ruzicka, Jaxson Ruzicka, Greysyn Morgan, Hudsyn Morgan and Hunter Morgan; brothers-in- law, Ramiro Bazan and Raul (Candy) Bazan; and sisters-in-law, Sandra Bazan, Mary (Dave) Hahn and Minnie (Domie) Rodriguez.
She was preceeded in death by Richard Bazan, Porferia Bazan, Sheri Bazan, Gracie Delgado, Elias Bazan Richmond, Juan Elias Bazan Sr., and Willow Jo Morgan.
