Chloee Haffner

November 3, 1997 — June 8, 2022

Chloee Claire Haffner, 24, formerly of Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Scottsbluff, Nebraska with Pastor Gene Hill officiating. Chloee was born November 3, 1997, to Johnny and Heidi (Gregory) Haffner in Scottsbluff. She attended Lincoln Elementary in Gering and then Bluffs Middle School and High School.  She transferred to Mitchell High School for a brief time before moving to Torrington, Wyoming where she attended Torrington High School. She was involved in band, choir, and volleyball and was active in the Lake Alice 4H club, showing pigs, sheep, and goats, and competing in shooting sports.

She moved to Colorado Springs in 2015 where she was very resourceful.  She was an “old soul” with her own hippie-style vibe.  She loved to make people smile and was very kind-hearted, always empathetic to the feelings of others.  Chloee was an avid advocate against bullying and was an animal lover throughout her life. She enjoyed painting, various music genres and was an excellent singer.  Chloee held a special place in her heart for her beloved nephew, Chase Graves and special cousin, Hunter Haffner.

She is survived by her mom, Heidi (Kenny) McCallum; father, Johnny Haffner; sister, Kaylie Haffner; brothers, Adain and Drake Haffner; nephew, Chase Graves; grandparents, Dennis and Sharon Gregory; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chloee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosie and LeRoy Grover; great grandparents, Elton and Claire Mundt, Kenneth Gregory, and Leonard and Delores Smalley; special family friend, Kena Buckridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
