Francine "Frankie" Grant

Francine “Frankie” Eleanor Grant, age 57, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Regional West Medical Center, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Gering Methodist Church in Gering with Rev. Bethann Black officiating. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Frankie was born on October 7, 1967, in Denver, Colorado, to Therese (Munch) Grant. She graduated from high school in Sterling, Colorado. Frankie continued her education and went to college for Child Services.

She enjoyed sudoku puzzles, camping with loved ones, going to the races in Colorado with family, working on vehicles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Frankie was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful person. She would do anything for those around her.

Survivors include her children, Cassidy Barber, Raymond Serrato, Candace Leet, and stepson, Cody Barber; grandchildren, Kyleigh Haugen, and Brittany and William Harms; siblings, Robert (Rose) Grant and Heather Meer; and nieces and nephews, Dakota and Theresa Grant, and Logan, Elena, and Anthony Jr. Meer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Therese Grant; sister, Melinda Grant; and stepson, Andy Barber.
