Jeffrey Scott Heilbrun, 45, of Fort Collins, Colorado and formerly of Gering, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 11, 2024, at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 21, at Fairview Cemetery. A private family inurnment will follow the service. Jeff was born June 8, 1978, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Ronald and Julianne (Hight) Heilbrun. He received his education in Gering. Jeff began his career in the automotive parts industry working alongside his family at Heilbrun’s NAPA Auto Parts in Scottsbluff. He worked at multiple locations within the company throughout his life. He also worked for Town and Country Plumbing for a few years alongside his closest friend, Rowdy. Jeff returned to Napa Fort Collins where he had been currently working. Both of his children, Tristen and Trinity, worked at the company alongside their father.
In his younger years, Jeff enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing with his family. In recent years he enjoyed staying busy with projects around the house, yardwork, woodworking, spending time with family, traveling and weightlifting. He was a major movie buff and always loved fast cars.
He is survived by his son, Tristen (Lindsie) Heilbrun; daughter, Trinity Heilbrun; grandchildren, Lucianna and Ezreal; parents, Ron and Julie Heilbrun; brother, Jason (Shannon) Heilbrun; nieces and nephews, Max, Alex, Quinn and Charlie; significant other, Heidi Ahrens and children Jayda and Lehla; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, L.D. and Patricia Hight and Harold and Betty Heilbrun; and cousin, Billy Hight.
