Jonathan T. Butterfield

Jonathan T. Butterfield, 42, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 5, 2023. A memorial service will be held at a later date and cremation has taken place. Jonathan was born November 12, 1981, in Perryton, Texas, to Donald and Esther (Trumbull) Butterfield.

He married Candace Harms on June 17, 2022, in Gering, Nebraska.

Jonathan enjoyed listening to music, fishing, and cooking. His sense of humor was one of a kind and he had jokes for days! What he loved most in life was being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Candace of Gering; step-daughter, Brittany Harms of Bridgeport, NE; step-son, William Harms of Gothenburg, NE; daughter, Adriana Butterfield of North Platte, NE; brother, Donald (Pam) Butterfield of Gurley, NE; sister, Monica Greathouse of Ivanhoe, MN; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and his extended family.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Esther Butterfield; grandparents, Marvin Butterfield, Mary Trumbull, and Donna Rose; and sister, Melissa Butterfield.
