Mary Louise Craig

Mary Louise Craig, age 66, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Born on May 13, 1958, in Denver, Colorado, Mary grew up in the charming community of Old Town Arvada, where she received her education.

On Valentine's Day, 23 years ago, Mary was united in marriage to her soulmate, James Craig, in a celebration of love that would last a lifetime.

Throughout her career, Mary held various positions, including serving as a shift manager in several restaurants. She had a laid-back demeanor and cherished the simple pleasures in life, often taking country drives to admire the stunning aspen trees or enjoying serene evenings on the porch, gazing at the stars, or gathering around the fire pit with loved ones. An avid music lover, Mary loved to dance and "The Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks was her favorite song.

Mary was known for her golden heart and deeply cherished by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James; two sisters; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Frances (Harper) Rusch.
