Mickey Moreno Valdez

Thursday, March 9, 2023, Mickey Moreno Valdez, age 65, of Gering, Nebraska, was called to her eternal home by her beloved Heavenly Father after her diligent service here on earth was finished. Mickey was born May 4, 1957, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Mike Aguallo Moreno Sr. and Phyllis (Martinez) Moreno. Mickey’s pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her greatest desire was to be a worthy servant for her Lord as she shared her love and faith for her Heavenly Father.

Mickey asked her family to continue to share her love for her Heavenly Father, His word, and to follow her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will joyfully anticipate the arrival of her family when God calls them home.

Mickey is survived by her husband, Hipolito Valdez; her daughters, Felisha Reynolds of Gering, Nicole (Dominic) Murillo of Scottsbluff, Victoria (Billy) Lookabill of Scottsbluff, Francine (Jesus) Corona of Gering; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; along with other extended family members.
