Rockey M. Wilhelm

Rockey M. Wilhelm, age 67, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska died Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff with Fr. Mike McDonald as Celebrant. Memorials may be made in care of the family. The service will be livestreamed and recorded to Rockey’s obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com. 

Rockey was born November 7, 1957, in Jamestown, North Dakota, to Vic and Dolores (Feist) Wilhelm. 

Rockey married Kellie Snook and became the proud father of his son, Dylan Wilhelm. Rockey was later united in marriage to Stephanie Dally on November 16, 2004.

Rockey was a hard worker in all he did. For most of his adult life, he made a living as a track technician for Burlington Railroad. A cowboy to the core, he enjoyed attending rodeos and playing pool. In his free time, he also liked going golfing and fishing. Rockey was laid-back and easy-going. His prankster antics kept friends and family on their toes, and he had a special way of bringing fun into the day. 

He was a loving father, husband, and friend. His memory will always be remembered with fondness.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Wilhelm; son, Dylan (Christa) Wilhelm; grandchildren, Brycen, Jayden, and Bentley Wilhelm; sister, Roxie (Donovan) Schmidt; brothers, Rod (Brenda) Wilhelm and Robley Wilhelm; nieces and nephews, Madison, Austin, Cody, Casey, Ryan, Anton, Rebecca, and Brooklyn; step father-in-law, Chuck Henry; along with many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Rockey was preceded in death by his parents, Vic and Dolores; paternal and maternal grandparents; uncles; father-in-law, Joe Dally Sr.; and mother-in-law, Marcia Henry.
