Trina Buxbaum

Trina Buxbaum, age 59, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, December 21, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2025, at Community Bible Church in Bayard, Nebraska with Pastor Brad Kihlthau officiating. Burial will follow at the Bayard Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Trina was born May 24, 1965, in Sidney, Nebraska to Robert and Connie (Kurth) Buxbaum.

Children easily connected with Trina, a quality that made her the perfect fit for a childcare provider. Most of her work history consisted of caring for children, a job she truly enjoyed. Trina also did housekeeping off and on at various homes and businesses.

Trina had a passion for music, which led her to learn to play the guitar and become a talented singer. She liked being outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Her family was her world, and she had special relationships with each of her nieces and nephews, and even from the oldest down to the baby of the great nieces and nephews, she always made certain they also knew how much she loved them. Trina was consistently joyful, caring, and steadfast in her faith in God.

Survivors include her sisters, Tammy (John) Low, Terrie Buxbaum, and Shirley Buxbaum; brother, Brian (Patti) Buxbaum; seventeen nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and great nephews; along with many others who she took in, stood by, loved, and or cared for during her life.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her parents, Robert and Connie Buxbaum; and multiple uncles and aunts.
